Practice Summary
Britt concentrates his practice on all types of civil litigation, including personal injury, products liability, premises liability, employment law and motor vehicle accidents. He is the firm's lead counsel on worker's compensation matters and regularly represents clients before the Mississippi Worker's Compensation Commission. Britt is admitted to practice law in both Mississippi and Arkansas and has tried dozens of jury trials in the state and federal courts of both jurisdictions.
Britt currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Delta Economic Development Center and served as the President of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce in 2006-07. He is active in various civic and community organizations including the United Way (President 2004), Kiwanis Club (President 2000), and the American Heart Association Heart Walk (Chairman 2003).

- Cremeen v. Superior Boat Works, Inc., F3d (5th Cir. Dec. 16, 2008). Defense of towboat and barge repair business with order denying any and all benfits for claim under LHWCA.
- Jones v. McRae's Inc., MWCC No. 03-2909H-6533 (Full Commission Order dated April 2, 2008). Order reversing ALJ's grant of worker's compensation benefits for alleged disability caused by heart attack.
- T&S Express Inc. v. Liberty Mutual Ins. Co, 847 So.2d 270 (Miss. 2003). Represented insurer with judgment granting reimbursement of defense costs and indemnity caused by wrongful refusal to defend.
- Liberty Mutual Ins. Co. v. Canal Ins. Co, 177 F3d 326 (5th Cir. 1999). Obtained summary judgment for insurer to recover attorney's fees for breach of duty to defend.
- Southern Leisure Homes, Inc. v. Hardin, 742 So. 2d 1088 (Miss. 1999). Represented local retailer and obtained order reversing erroneous decree of Chancellor via interlocutory appeal.
