Robert N. Warrington

Practice Summary

Bobby concentrates in the areas of business, corporate and tax law. He acts as general counsel, as well as special counsel, for many corporations, including those in the hospitality, health care, agricultural, utility and manufacturing industries. He regularly represents clients with regard to the tax consequences and structuring of all types of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, sales, reorganizations and tax-deferred exchanges. Bobby is also experienced in the drafting of wills and trusts and the probate of estates. He represents clients in connection with audits by the Internal Revenue Service, appeals before the Internal Revenue Service, adversary proceedings before the U.S. Tax Court, protests of ad valorem tax assessments, requests for Private Letter Rulings from the Internal Revenue Service, applications for 501(c)(3) status, and in ERISA matters. Bobby also has significant experience in representing health care providers on certificate of need and licensure issues, as well as Medicare regulatory issues and administrative appeals before the Provider Reimbursement Review Board.
